What qualifies for Canada Summer Jobs?

The program funds quality summer jobs for youth. Small businesses, not-for-profits and public-sector employers can all apply.

Not-for-profits, public-sector bodies, and private businesses with 50 or fewer full-time employees.
A quality job for a young person aged 15–30 at the start of employment.
Roles that provide a safe, inclusive workplace and meaningful work experience.
